This page explains the privacy principles that apply when you contact HopeStage, join the association, register for an event or discuss a research-services project.
HopeStage keeps initial enquiries intentionally limited. Please do not send personal health information, participant data or confidential study material through the public contact form.
Scope and purpose
Why HopeStage may collect information.
Information provided through contact, membership and event-registration forms is handled confidentially and used only for the relevant relationship with HopeStage.
- Responding to professional or general enquiries
- Managing association memberships and donations
- Issuing tax receipts where applicable
- Managing event registrations and community participation
- Sending the HopeStage newsletter when a person has subscribed or otherwise provided a valid basis for contact
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data.
To exercise your data-protection rights or ask a privacy question, email hello@hopestage.com. HopeStage will handle the request in line with applicable data-protection law.

Business enquiries
Keep the first conversation proportionate.
A useful initial enquiry normally includes only professional contact details, organization context, a high-level description of the need, a public or shareable URL, timing and the preferred next step.

- Do not submit participant names or identifiable participant information
- Do not submit confidential study data or unpublished results
- Do not submit credentials, access tokens or payment information
- Do not submit unpublished commercial terms through the public form
Research projects
Consent and data handling are agreed before work begins.
Where a project involves lived-experience research, recruitment support or participant-facing work, the parties agree the lawful basis, consent pathway, data minimization, access, retention, security and deletion responsibilities for that project.
- HopeStage does not sell private health data
- Community information is not treated as a mailing list
- Sensitive information is not sent to website analytics
- Project-specific privacy, consent, compensation and governance are documented before activation
- Authorized study teams retain responsibility for clinical records, screening, eligibility, consent, enrolment and treatment decisions
